Ashley Jarvis and his group have very successfully sold 4 houses for my family over recent years, and done so in a most professional manner. The last home sold in little more than a week, from MLS listing to contract, and we could not be happier with the result. People always say that it's bad to go with the seller's agent but Ben was wonderful. I moved from California to Kansas and bought a home fully within 1 month. Ben was fair and honest every step of the way and helped with whatever I needed. The home I bought was well outside his range but that didn't stop him from giving excellent service. I moved back to Salina, Kansas two years ago, and into a rental house that I just fell in love with. It was a house that I may have had the opportunity to purchase.
I contacted Kelly when I was ready to stop throwing my money away on rent payments, and invest in a home of my own.
Kelly came over and spent all the time necessary to listen to what I wanted in a home. She also walked through my current rental, which I was seriously considering trying to purchase.

We talked about the house I was living in and some of the concerns she had. It was already difficult, at times, for me to use the stairs. Especially the basement, while carrying laundry up and down. The possibility of an accidental fall was a definite concern. Especially when I was living alone.
Kelly also thought that an attached garage was a necessity. To be able to drive in, close it behind me, and bring groceries, etc. inside without the chance of slipping during bad weather. Not to mention no scraping car windows !
She was right ! And importantly to me, she has a way of putting out her ideas without making you ever feel "pushed". I appreciated that.

This is the fourth home that my wife and I have purchased and our first time working with Ashley. Honestly, I spoke with a different realtor before working with Ashley and these are the reasons we didn't end up working with her:
- instead of listening to what we were looking for, she seemed more concerned with maximizing her commission (i.e. telling us we weren't going to find what we wanted in the lower end of our price range)
- Didn't seem motivated to work with us (we had pretty open requirements, but she didn't seem like she wanted to work other than finding homes in a few neighborhoods)

Ashley is exactly what a realtor should be: Took the time to listen to what we were looking for, translate those insights into how that fit the local marketplace, and showed us a wide range of houses all across the city, and worked to get us the best deal. His negotiation for a home warranty paid for by the seller was a lifesaver when the hot water heater went out about 3 months later (which he identified prior to our purchase that the hot water heater was a concern).
